Hi all.

So, I suggest that we legalize the soul trade. Thus far, while it has thrived on MineRealm, it has mostly been underground and you can't prove anything on me so don't try or I'll

*cough*

Back to the main point. As the soul trade is obviously not going to disappear, I suggest that it be legalized for the benefit of all who participate in it. I believe this would help revitalize MineRealm's economy, as well as leading to a more open, honest, and harmonious trade for all those involved. Who knows? Properly regulated, it could lead to a new golden age. Beelzebub knows we need it, given the extreme decrease in players in the last couple months.

So, will we have further stagnation and a crumbling economy? Or shall we bring the black market into the light and make a new golden age? You decide. Vote!

Of course I did. Why do you think I'm calling for legalization?

It would certainly make things easier for one of a certain merchant's biggest customers, who might happen to be staff and well-known for their association with dark magic.

Speaking of "Oppressed", you need not worry about souls despawning.

Not that I have any personal experience, of course, but I've heard that certain racoon-ish individuals in high places are invested in preventing that from happening, perhaps to help fuel their...interest...in nickels. After all, the soul trade is quite lucrative, and Intelli stole my tools.

I would like to bring up the point of the instability in soul trade, as certain souls are in higher or lesser demand based on the consume-... well in this case purchasers.
Therefor in certain circumstances a soul could have greater or lesser value. Albeit, this has no affect on those affiliated in the Dark Arts, in which a soul has other purposes beyond trade.

If anything, I'd say this makes it better. The varying soul values provide a cushion: even should there be a significant change in the pricing, for each soul that goes up or down in price, there will be another to take its place. This keeps the market stable, something that isn't really the case with a market so full of entirely different items like Diamonds, Music Disks, Nether Quartz, Glowstone, etc.
