There has been a lot of discussion as to a "full wipe" instead of the discussed public wipe poll ill put it forward now it will not happen unless 95% of veteran players were to agree to it as the main group of people who play mine realm have been around for many years now and very few would give up their 50+ realms also admins would have to allow it. The only other way the admins could do this is by opening up a 2nd server which just means more cost so to anyone who is waiting for this to happen just forget about it the chances are really one in ten thousand, i personally would like a full wipe but when you take into account all the possibility's its not worth the risk.

Worst case scenario for example if there were to be a full wipe and everything went to poo, where people quit and would result in closing server or something alike.

In future this may come to past but when it does we will vote.

Oh I must be mistaken, your name isn't Intelli.

Do we really need 3 threads a week on this topic when the person who owns the server has explicitly said there won't be another server wipe?

I'll shoot down some ideas before they're suggested with direct quotes from Intelli.
Hey everyone,

UPDATE 12/15/2011:
The MineRealm survival map is now deemed permanent, and will not ever be wiped in the future.

Thanks!

The map is never wiping

-We also don't plan on ever resetting public land either, due to projects such as the subway, etc, which now exist in public realms.
Intelli wrote:a map wipe is pretty much out of the question. You can get a clean empty map on 99% of servers out there. A built-up map is a more unique challenging experience, and is part of what makes the server unique.
Intelli wrote:A new server doesn't solve any problems though.

In two weeks, we'd be back where we were - no public land at spawn.
Also, making the area directly around spawn public results in a massive griefed cobble mass. It doesn't work, which is why we ditched it.
I'll also say that a second server would be expensive. Currently, the server is costing Intelli and donators at least 200 USD per month. If he wanted his money's worth, the current server would need to be just as popular as a second server. And that just won't happen. New players outnumber older players. New players will attract to the new server and old players will attract to the old server. The result: 40 players on new server and 10 players on old server.

Some threads of interest:

At one point, Intelli said nothing will ever be wiped again. Clearly, he has changed his mind. Otherwise, he would not have suggested a public land wipe. I think he's allowed to change his opinion without scrutiny, but consider yourself lucky that he suggested the public land wipe.

Thanks for compiling those quotes. Perhaps one of these days people will actually bother to read them...

If you'll excuse the nitpicking over semantics, I think it's even a bit of an overstatement to say that Intelli "suggested" a public land wipe - that thread was not worded as a specific suggestion, and its stated purpose was "gathering opinions."
