So, I figure that we may not necessarily get much notice as to what will happen when 1.3 comes regarding the map (if Intelli has already definitely picked something, then I missed it). Because of that, this is kind of a "just in case" suggestion, as I believe a map expansion is at the very least possible.

My suggestion is that the World Map on the site not be updated for a few days IF the world borders are expanded. I feel that having an overview of the new territory would create a non-vanilla feel, as people would make a bee-line to buy up villages and other biomes, instead of exploring the new territory.

Mooshroom biomes, villages, temples, all should be hidden.
I think the map disable should last at least 2 weeks.

We don't need an expansion, the map is 10,000 by 10,000 (x 5,000 - [-5,000]), (z 5,000 - [-5,000]). There would be no point in extending the map, as 90% is unowned, and still most untouched.
