We can not be sure what percentage of new players actually explore the tutorial room (at texas hitman's spawn realm) or learn the commands without asking in chat or find public land without asking. What we are sure of is that some of them still can't find their way without requiring help. We are constantly bothered by the same questions over and over and over.

Any smart person willing to learn the ways of the server would explore spawn for tutorials. In fact, if you walk straight out of spawn and follow the instructions on the signs, you will find yourself in the tutorial room. However, we don't live in a world with smart people (or we at least don't play a game with more mature players). Therefore, by making it just a tad bit easier for new players to reach a tutorial area, I think we may reduce questions in chat and gain a player base (though, maybe a stupider one).

What I suggest is /tut (because /tutorial is too hard to type for stupid people). It's another warp, like /trade. It takes you to an enclosed area (my guess is below trade) with, as you might guess, tutorials! It would be similar to the tutorials under texas hitman's spawn realm (outdated btw).

Answering their questions is just a bother and telling them to read the signs at spawn is a bother too because they usually come back with "where?"

Many new players seem to struggle with learning how to play without asking for help. Make it easier for them, and you have happy players. The downside: You're playing with dumber people.

And do your part by placing signs like these on your realms around spawn please:

I think it should be noted somewhere that there should be no PvP on the red carpet at spawn. And you can not return to it after stepping off to use it as a safe zone.

If you'll remember, the tutorial room was once the very first thing you saw when walking out of spawn. I can't help it that Intelli decided to to rotate spawn 180 degrees, put up a wall, and grow some trees to block the view. That guy has never shown anything resembling support for clear and up-to-date rules presented in an easily accessible format. Very aggavating.

Sry about the double post. I don't seem to be able to edit existing posts anymore...odd.

All of the above tutorial issues have been addressed to the best of my abilities. Two items of note:

1-Unless someone can volunteer a better plot of land, I can't move the tutorials to improve exposure.
2-The "explosion creds" sign was left as-is. Until I have something better to say there, I see no reason to change it. This is strongly influenced by the fact that I've seen explosions enabled/disabled multiple times.
