When you do /online, it shows when they were last on. What if it showed if they were banned? And when, so you know if they are most likely not coming back, of it is still possible.

This would be a great addition, if possible, as last night I had thought Zulton logged out because the Help Bot was annoying him, but in reality he was banned.

if you miss-type the name, show 3 most matching names.
There must be some ready lib/function in java to find most similar words.

It solves following actual problem:
some dude like Rof100kobi91a writes "I buy 10 stack iron".

It is impossible to contact him...
you miss-type his name
no way to repeat last command (and fix/try another spelling)
no way to scroll up and see the lines before it is out of scrollback
you can hope that HE sees you saying "hey rof100something, pm me!" and then use /reply, but often he doesn't see it in flood/chat.

I know this is Notche's problem to fix this in-game chat not prepared to handled any business talk as needed by economy extended minecraft.

And this is the quickest way to work around this problem I can think of
E.g. I know I traded with phys-something and SilverKnight-something and I want to contact them just remembering part of their name. Now we can! 8-)

Some of your prior suggestions have been rather pointless, but I can actually say that I back this 100%. We need some way of knowing how long a player has gone without logging in so we know whether their realms are being disbanded soon.. and to check back and see when you can finally keep the items from bought realms when the 15 day grace period is over.
