This has nothing to do with warping!

I'm not sure if this has been suggested before, but I'd like to be able to control my realms without having to stand in them. Perhaps by realm ID numbers, confirmation would show the realm name, etc etc. I'd like to be able to add a player to a realm from far away. I'd like to be able to sell a realm from far away as well. It would be a useful function together with the recently added "list" function that shows your owned realms.

And it goes without saying that I do NOT mean that I want to buy realms at a distance using their ID's. But I added this option to the poll, just to be fair. Please double check your vote to make sure you didn't read it wrong. Also this has nothing to do with somehow teleporting or really avoiding walking. I'm not talking about a warp function, just to be able to sell a realm and control permissions without having to stand in it. You would still have to walk just as much do do anything "non realmy", such as building or buying realms or anything. You just wouldn't have to walk to do the odd job like sell a realm you once bought far away. Seems reasonable?

This would really help the real estate markets, as well as people who rent housing space. People could easier sell realms that are otherwise a waste of time to walk to. There would be more public land for all! With the advent of a limitless map, and multiple spawns, I think this ability would raise the /realm functionality to the par of a bigger map and more spawns; not leave it behind!

IIRC, the 3.0 realm system partially was made so you would travel more. If you had /realm warp, multiple /homes or this, you wouldn't walk as much.

Whatever needs to happen for people to easily get from Abyssus and Roanoke to Spawn City, the /trade bringing you there never happened... People day by day need to come there, but theirs no door in /trade letting you out to Spawn City.

I am trying to tell you that this will make it so you don't have to travel as often. I did not misunderstand and I did not vote.

I think you should only be able to sell or add members from a distance, if at all.

I am completely fine with the current system.

The most common reason for people who are voting this down is because the people who take the time to actually look through threads like this are either veterans or have been here for quite awhile.

That being said, means that people are use to what Intelli thinks. (extra ways to avoid walking is a NO NO)
We should all be lucky that there is a /sethome and a /spawn.

If you knew that Intelli generally doesn't like people getting out of traveling through the vast areas of Minerealm, because he thinks that it takes away from the whole survival style of playing. As many would say too chocolatey. This would take away the aspect of not having to walk/travel to different areas. This would also be easily exploited by those who find realms that have been disbanded buy them and take pics then never travel back, but instead sell them without having to work for it.

This would be a broken idea sorry. Refer to Panthers old thread about the types of ideas that people suggest. I think it is under the name of Why the most common ideas won't be accepted.

I like idea to allow administrating, but not purchasing (so you can not buy place you didnt ever see - too easy and can mess up someone who is there building on public etc)
