I suggest that this server Decrease the amount of people that are allowed to join at the same time. cuz when the server is full it lags as hell. it takes alot of time to just mine like 12 blocks of stone with an iron pickaxe...
by only Decreasing it with like 10-20 will help alot.

No, there are many reasons that you could be lagging, but shutting players out is a horrible idea. The limit now is 150, when we had a surge of new players it was decreased to 120, the lag didn't stop.

We moved it back up to 150, as we switched it to a ramdisk.
In testing with 120+ players on, the lag was deemed bearable, with digging / placing blocks considered possible.

Mob movement, will of course, always lag. That happens even with just 50+ players online.

What do you mean? It would ALWAYS be peak time.
