Well, people are making more and more applications yet the thing that bothers me the most is that we don't really know when an application gets declined.

I did submit my application yesterday I think and I've spoke to BSGSamuel today, who was stating Intelli is picky (no offence) which is needed in this situation .

Now let's say that an application doesn't get approved, I would want to know if it ever could get approved and if it could what should be changed. That way people who really want a spawn so bad, will work their butts off to achieve one.

IDEA: Make a post/topic with the declined applications with the reason(s) why, that way people won't be sending in spawns with the same mistakes over and over again AND other people can improve their spawn so it might be accepted one day.

Seems like something that could be included in the application thread. I like this idea, and hope it ends up happening.

I don't think you're looking at this the right way. Becoming a Moderator isn't like unlocking a safe, where you can keep trying until you get the right combination. If you submit an application, it's there. Just like when you apply for a job in the real world. They put your application on file until they decide to do some hiring. They don't call to let you know you're NOT hired, they call when they're ready to hire you. So, if you put in an app, be patient and maybe you'll get the job.

Also, I know one big issue that has to be assessed when choosing mods/admins is what their "eagerness" to become one could really mean. It's not a stretch to imagine that someone might put in months of good conduct and helpful productivity into a server just to get into a position of power, start up their fraps and proceed to go on the biggest griefing spree in history for their youtube channel. Think about that when you decide to try and hold Intelli accountable for NOT making you a mod. If there's any way to keep from getting a job, it's by pointing the finger at the guy in charge.

He is talking about applications for getting a spawn point in your city/town or whatever.

I think this is a great idea, and I strongly agree there should be a way of telling if your spawn application had been accepted or declined.

You only answered half the request. o.O Players would like to know not only if they have had their application accepted, but if they had it rejected.

*EDIT* When I say application; I of course mean Spawn Application's as well.

Let me make it a bit clearer because I saw some missunderstanding

Firts of I don't mean applications for mods but for spawn points (pfieuw good i cleared that one :p)

Now, I know that I can find the spawn points on that page but I do also know that Intelli has alot of work with looking at all those requests. So maybe if he wants to lower that amount, he could make a list of seriously taken applications, and than give a reason why. That way alot of questioning is gone + Mods get less asked about it (cuz I really need to force myself NOT to ask a Mod about my app being approved/denied and why )

So yea I thing that made things clear, it'll be a win-win for both parties imo, if you think differently than that's ok obviously

well i spawn at like somewhere like abyssus and i have to walk to original spawn from 2000 blocks away. I think there should be a warp if u can't get to original spawn.
