So I just started affiliating myself with a city and this idea came up while I was hiking the 3k from my base to the city in question. Would it be possible to allow for additional /home locations? Like if you punched in "/home 1" it would send you to your initial /home location (so as to keep people from having to reset their home locations), and if you did /home 2 it would send you to wherever you did "/set home 2".

Just a thought. Don't really like the idea of hauling materials from my base up to the city every time I need to build something. And it would allow people to easily move between their shops/cities and personal realms far easier.

This has been suggested many times, and all of those times, it has been rejected.

Sorry, no additional /home for you.

*Darth Vader "Nooooooooo!"*

Suppose I've got to work out some sort of transit system then....

Maybe a /city? *Hopeful*

The Minerealm subway stations built mainly by Lm108 is not complete but will go to realms that are somewhat popular. (has a good amount of people living there) If you ask he might be able to connect it to your city.

We had /realmwarp, but that was lost after 2.0.

I'm not sure if the city owners want to be on the list just yet.

I suppose, since I can get o my personal realm faster than I can the city, I could just hoof it to the city once more, /home it, then make runs from the spawn to my realm then /home to the city to drop my stuff off...At least until the subway reaches that way.

I think it'd be a nice thing for when you're mining, but need to warp back and get some food and deposit your collected materials, yet you still aren't finished mining and want to go back to that spot. Less risk of dying and losing all your rares that you've come across if you've been out in the wilderness awhile, but I suppose it would also negate some of the fun that comes with that risk. Still, I'd like to see a second /home option. Those that still want the challenge wouldn't have to use it, if they could fight the temptation anyway.

The subway will help make things quicker, and the availability of multiple spawns (upcoming) might give you a spawn place closer to your territory. In the meantime, my recommendation is to use nether portals. Know where your portal in the nether is, know where an overworld portal near spawn is, and your travel to your home will be 8x faster.

Everyone stop discussing this, your lucky to A /SETHOME.

Be grateful for the one you have, don't be greedy. Just walk the extra blocks.

Plus, this defeats the adventure purpose Intelli wants players to have.
