Apparently the server has been down for the last couple of days, and with Intelli on vacation until the 11th (or so I've heard), it seems possible that the 1.8 update will be released while minerealm's servers are down. I therefore propose postponing the server wipe that will be happening after 1.8 so that players can have time to save whatever they want from the current server. In order to give everyone a window of opportunity to save their stuff, regardless of what time they play or what time zone they live in, I propose that the last server save before the wipe occur no sooner than 24 hours after the server becomes available again.
This would be helpful to the many players who own realms by letting them store items in chests, and by allowing them to buy any realms they want to keep and/or sell any realms they would prefer to have reset. It may also be beneficial to players who do not yet own any realms, since a little bit of server up-time before the reset would allow them to either earn the credits to buy a realm (and thereby save their items) or look for a realm-owning player to temporarily live with.

The Greymarch has ended.
