Currently it's not possible to place enderchests in the end because in previous versions we did not have en exit portal in the end I wanted to prevent people from getting items from the end to the overworld.
Since there is an exit portal now I don't see why we need the restriction on enderchests (since the end is essentially the same as the nether now, where you can place enderchests).
So for clarity, the suggestion is: Make it possible for players to place enderchests in the End.
