Suggestion (also TLDR): Allow all owners of realms within 500 blocks of the spawn point to have the ability to individually wipe their realms through the use of /realm wipe command and exclude the 150x150 rule to avoid the red circles shown in the spoiler below.
What this would allow:
The realms in white that have been circled in the crude red photoshop job will not wipe even though the /realm wipe command has been used on them. With this suggestion, these realms will be allowed to wipe.
Why?: Besides making these realm owners happy that their builds will wipe, there are several advantages. Spawn realms are very coveted and have been long dug apart in their years of use. A growing majority of them have been hallowed to bedrock. Since wiping realms near spawn becomes a huge logistical issue and would only work if a large number of people got together, I am suggesting that spawn realms have the ability to be individually wiped. I think this would be a fun way for the community to start new builds at spawn and have start with a completely fresh realm.
Hopefully this might also encourage owners to raise their builds to a more even level. Once you walk past spawn the unevenness of realms becomes very noticeable. Having the first 500 or so blocks at the same level would hopefully concretize that this space is actually 'spawn city'.
Addressing concerns:
Patchy spawn grid - The reason the 150x150 rule was put into place was so that the map would not be patchy. However, any concerns about patchy unfitting realms can easily be addressed. Beacons with eff V and haste II and picks can make clearing a realm down flat to its neighbors a very simple task.
Pros: Makes realm owners in white happy. Adds fresh life to these realms that have been striped clean for possibly years. Hopefully encourages builds to be brought up to the y level of spawn and eliminate a bit of the unevenness which might help bring back the spawn roads.
Cons: Im sure Intelli is fairly swamped in coding as well as the amount of inquires about the wipe already. Adding and implementing this exclusion will take some time.
