Those achievement announcements are pretty annoying and you even see them when you disabled /chat.

I want them to get disabled or at least make an option so you can disable/enable whenever you want like the puplic /chat

I don't think there isn't anything more to say.

Personally I originally liked it and thought it would all die down, but with the wipe and appending tidal wave of new members, its going to be hell. Minerealm works very hard at preventing chat spam and to be honest I'm a bit surprised as to why we haven't been more adamant about toning this down. I really don't need to see a nub get an achievement for pushing their inventory button.

This was Eetrab's suggestion, which was rejected due to insufficient votes. It's possible that a new vote could get the numbers up to be successful now BUT the poll in this thread isn't the yes/no poll required by the Suggestions/Ideas subforum, so I can see this suggestion being rejected also.

Probably the biggest problem right no is the coding it requires, since it's just about to happen (Hopefully...) and it would add to the things Intelli has to do.

Maybe add in that effort put into this could possibly be postponed until after the wipe happens, and the staff make sure that everything seems to work correctly with it?
