[REJECTED] Idea/Suggestion: /sethome restrictions#166151

Basically, I am suggesting that players who do not have perms to a private realm are unable to /sethome there.

No. If you have issues with people camping your realms, tell staff and get them banned. This suggestion would cause more problems than it would solve.

This would solve more problems, as people wouldn't have to bother staff to ban someone over camping a realm as they would no longer be able to do it.

This. Many people would complain upon the imposition of this, more than if it were not implemented at all.

Well, first of all, realm camping is perfectly legal in many cases (spawn realms disbanding, for example). Second, I expect that it would cause major inconvenience to anyone who has any valid reason to /sethome in a realm they haven't got access to, which is many people, including the aforementioned legal realm campers.

Ok lets meet halfway with an option for realm owners to have a command that stops people setting home in their realms.

Or just convert their /home to something that'll kill them and loot their items, then profit until they get the message.
