Currently, the system is such that offline players can be removed, but not added. I feel like it is a necessity to be able to add offline players to your realms.
Pros: Allows guild leaders to add their whole guild no matter who is online, allows people who are building mega builds and the such like to add their construction workers/partners in the build etc.
Cons: You might type in the wrong name and add someone who you didn't want to, I believe that this was the reason this has not been implemented yet. I'm sure that everyone can agree that this is such a small chance of error that it can be overseen, and if you type the name wrong, or if you think that you did, you can just do /realm members and check, and if you did indeed add the wrong person, you can remove them just as easily.
Part 2: Locations
Currently, if you want to do any kind of command related to a realm, whether it is selling it, giving out permissions to it, removing permissions from it, or setting the motd, you have to be on the realm. I suggest that you shouldn't have to be on it, and the commands should change to the following:
/realm <command> <x/y location of realm>
Examples:
/realm sell -25/125
/realm sell SuperCreeper007 100000 -25/125
/realm motd Message of Da Day :3 -25/125
/realm member SuperCreeper007 -25/125
Pros: Obvious, this way you can manage multiple realms without jumping around 100s of blocks, and you can also manage them even if you are in a position where you can't move out of, or if the realm is very far away (ex. you are exp grinding and a guild member needs permission to a realm on the border).
Cons: The only con I can see is the /motd command, because if you wanted to put the location of the realm as part of the motd that might get a little conusing, and the game might think you are trying to put 4 fields in the /realm command (motd, string to set as motd, location, random number) when in reality you are just trying to input 3 (motd, string to set as motd [which includes the location], location). So, maybe the command would have to be changed to something like /realm motd "XAMPLE" -25/125, with quotaion marks around the message, which might be harder to code.
Of course, all these ideas are just basically prototypes, the commands don't have to be exactly the same, just a general idea.
Thanks for reading, sorry for the long post
TL;DR Vote Yes
This suggestion and poll is for ALL of the changes listed below, because I feel they go together and are equally important.
The reason this thread is separate from this one is so that they can have different polls, because they are different ideas about the same system.
