Heres how my lotto idea would go down.

Step 1: Make a dispenser with 1 of each: Dirt, Cobble, Sand, Log, Planks, Stick, Gravel, Coal, Redstone.
Step 2: Get 9 people with 1 diamond each
Step 3: Turn on dispenser and see what comes out
Step 4: Person who picked that item wins
Step 5: Everyone who entered gives the 1 diamond to the winner.

There, everyone sees that its fair and no one can scam you because everyone is there and watching. This fixes the main problems. Anyone see any problems at all?

That wouldn't be a fair way to determine the winner. Dispensers have a bias, and weighting the stacks would risk multiple of something being given to someone.

Wow I put this in the wrong place. I have no idea how maybe I have to many tabs open and mixed them up? Anyways can a mod move it or even delete it?
