How is this suggestion as 63% no, and the other suggestion only at 45% no, when the other suggestion included this identical suggestion? Do people even read the topics anymore?

Since the other suggestion was around 63% yes I thought the people who voted no on the other suggestion would likely vote yes since the other suggestion made a drastic change to the end. I guess people don't think deeply about the topic and just vote based on the first few comments... Personally I would like to be able to get end and out of the end, since in minecraft 1.0-1.6 allows you to exit the end.

Sadly true, and the reason I don't usually waste my time trying to change people's opinions on suggestions: they tend to go with the opinions of their "allies" and stick with them regardless of the merit of the actual suggestion. MineRealm is party politics, plain and simple.

Of course, this isn't particularly relevant to the discussion of this suggestion in particular, so if anyone wants to continue discussing politics and group psychology, which I would be delighted to do, either PM me or start a new topic.

UnboundStriker reminded me that enderchests are another good way of transporting stuff out of the end, including enchants, ect. Just enabling enderchests could also count as a way in and out of the end. Enderchests are made specifically for the end and enabling them would be 100% legit and vanilla.

If this one fails then I will be suggesting that, since it does seem like a great idea. However the suggestion currently is to make a way out of the end, meaning the way out would be up to Intelli if this is accepted. Intelli very well could enable enderchests as a way out.

lol. Why are you all so focused on an exit? For crying out loud, are you not aware that adding an exit could plausibly remove the entrances? How many people would close up their portal knowing good and well they could profit immensely from endstone, enchantments, and ender pearls? An endermen farm can potentially get you to level 30 in 50 seconds to 2 minutes. Quad grinders can do level 30 in a minimum average of 4.3 minutes. I'm sure few people would want to share that especially since there is only one end and it is a limited size.

There is no exit because it could put too much control and profit in the hands of few people. No matter how much knowledge or time one player has, he or she may never have control of that market. That's why it's unfair.

Is disabling an exit vanilla? Nope. But being disallowed from entering the end isn't vanilla either. That's due to the realm system (hence "semi-vanilla"). If there were no block protection, THEN an exit might be allowed because the end would be fair game to everyone.
