What server are you looking at, 08? Because it clearly isn't MineRealm.
No lol I mean if this does happen, within a couple months a lot of minerealm would have been banned, because 90% of minerealm have made a mistake on the server. The other 10% have a 7-10/10 reputation.

Note: These are 08s estimated statistics.
But as Intelli stated, the 90% of Minerealm who have made a mistake on the server, wouldn't have been banned for what they did previously with the addition of part B. So while if you get banned you're gone in this system, there are other measures being taken to reduce the amount of people getting banned in the first place.

Yes, but say 4 new people join an hour when not advertising. That same hour 5-6 people are banned. We would slowly be loosing more people than we gain. This would mean the amount of players would drastically decrease until we are left with about 30 active 7-10/10 never been banned players.

Everybody seems to be missing something here: Most, if not all, swearing bans would be eliminated. Of your 5-6 bans/hour number, I'd say 4 are usually for swearing. Yes, bans would be permanent, but most of the petty bans would be eliminated by Change 2.

Well, I'd rather 30 active community players than 75-100 random new guys that play for 1 hour, then get bored and leave...

I think most of those swearing petty bans are committed by people who have no intent of re-joining the server.

It seems like it blocks most ways to get banned, so there would be few bans. Here are a few. Flying, avoiding the swear filter, griefing, looting, harassment, exploiting, duping, pvp logging, illegal pvp, spamming, advertising, and more... I would have been perma banned, and many other good player who have committed any of these offenses long ago.

I think flying, hacking of any kind, duping and spam-advertising are perfectly well deserving of permabans. Minor looting and griefing, harassment (depending on the situation), and PVP offenses deserve at least consideration for a second chance, in my opinion. That's why I suggested a 3-4 week waiting period before allowing appeals, and a hard line of "second ban = permanent", as opposed to the first/any ban is permanent idea.

Probably, in which case they will just leave eventually, get banned for spamming, or something along those lines.

Remember when Wormoxide was banned for griefing his own tunnel? I don't think he should have had to wait 3-4 weeks to appeal that since it was an accidentle ban. I also know some players who have got banned for duping, flying, and autobraking blocks. I still think they deserved a second chance :)

Intelli specifically states in the OP that the permaban rule would not apply to accidental bans, and I stated in my post that accidental bans would be an exception to the waiting period. As far as the cheating thing, I feel like people who are flying, duping, or hacking are very purposefully trying to use cheats to make the game easier for themselves, which is why I consider them different from those who committed some minor griefing infraction or whatnot.
