But if it helps keep new players, I guess it's not that bad. I can always remove the trees near me if I don't like them. Changed to a yes.

hahah i didn't know what bumping was till just now, but sorry im bored, i have nothing to do till im un banded so i was looking as forums, saw this one, saw the post and replied. i thik i have been on here for 2 hours just looking through things hoping an admin wakes up or gets on XD

Actually vanilla means none of the core mechanics are changed ie tpa, flying etc.
Which minerealm is about 90% vanilla as we have /spawn commands

The word you're looking for is legit ie no spawning in of items

what i was trying to say is have no trees would be a modification. therefore it wouldn't be vanilla. but now that i read your over it seems as if you said adding the would not be vanilla, not legit when i thought you meant having no trees is vanilla sorry for the confusion
