For all those who say this isn't legit trees spawn them selves in, in the first place if you plant them. Even if this isn't the most vanilla idea it will greatly benefit the server.

Spawning items is the definition of legit we use here. Just because a resource is renewable doesn't mean we should start spawning it.

I'd prefer something more like a wipe or a regeneration of more than just trees, like caves maybe, but anyhow I'd LOVE to see more trees on MineRealm.

All of my friends who join MineRealm always complain about the lack of trees. I think they deserve to have more trees back so they can have more fun. Because MineCraft is about fun, and they deserve to have fun.

Why not a more legit way of doing this? People could just take their old or unused saplings and plant them. This would be a legit way of doing this, and people can stop hoarding those items.

I give out saplings and wood out to newbs on a regular basis. I usually play at night, though. Dispersing them to the players who need them is very limited. I also live near the edge of the map so automating it is not an option either (griefers would just empty any dropper/dispenser anyway). I would love to replant the map. However, replanting is a large undertaking even for several individuals with very little personal gains. Also, an effort like that would be largely skewed toward the planter's personal tastes.

I think the best solution is the suggestion intelli made. dlgn has a very valid point, public builds could be griefed. However, checking how many blocks have been changed in a realm/chunk can easily be checked and used to determine if a build is present (or similar check, that's just off the top of my head). I agree that (re-)spawning is not the most legit method of doing this as Jadnn said, but may be the most practical way.

This is spawnin in something that once existed there, so its not the same as quartz, because it was legit because it wasn't ever there. The trees were there always though. So, Nu. This would be like rolling back items.
