griefing noob

Not all griefers are noobs. Some griefers are incredibly smart,and know how to leave more of a mark on a server than "haha I broke som stuff".

However, I'm going to go ahead and 'like' your post even after pointing that out. That's because you provided the most valid reason for having redstone be allowed.

I understand that some griefers are smart, but if they are a lag machine is not what they would do. They would get inside people's heads and create unrest in the community. I am near certain that even a 'smart griefer' would not create a lag machine.

Yeah. Lag machines are more effective on smaller servers.

A smart griefers would probably use a mass spam attack or something. But still, some may go for the simplicity of a randomizer plus a bunch of pistons/repeaters. This being said, your probably right. We'd only come in counter with a few over a large span of time.
