PPFFFFT no. Intelli has never had his hand in coding something jsut for the economy. this was for lags sake. I think maybe a higher cap.. persay 20-25 would do nicely... Btw who CARES if enchanted items are flooding the market? If you are going to work for the XP with a farm or just finding mobs, to sell an item, WHY NOT? Economy has no part in a lag discussion

Edit: Also, mob spawners still work fine, as long as you kill the mobs right away. The script only prevents large amounts of mobs from amassing in one spot.
let's say i make a giant room that is like 50 blocks wide. if 4 zombies spawn and go to each corner, and more zombies spawn( lets say like 8) the zombies will despawn. its not only when they are in one spot but just from one spawner in general. what i'm asking is for you to raise the limit on the mobs.

There needs to be some sort of balance here. The way things are now, a lot of mob farms are just about useless. However, 500+ mobs packed into one area is obviously a problem. Like a few others have suggested, I'd recommend raising the cap on the amount of mobs allowed in one area, although I have no idea how high this number can be made without causing any major performance issues. It'd probably be best to start out with a high number, perhaps around 30, and begin gradually lowering it if lag becomes an issue again.

Intelli, I understand large amounts of Mobs cause lots of lag and the AFK and waiting isn't right but I don't think the script limits the mob but limits the amount of the same mob in a specific area ( from personal referencing), Maybe could you limit it to 20 mobs can spawn from a spawner but limitless amounts in 1 area being that i have 3 spawners together and they spawn fine but as soon as they start to huddle they disappear.

This would still reduce lag just not as much and keep it fair whilst keeping people happy?

EDITED: noticed you can't really grasp what im asking, Could you please make it so only 20 mobs can spawn from 1 spawner at any given time and they arn't controlled by the area there in at all?

Second Edit: In my case, 60 possible mobs in 1 area and Im sure that its not going to be possible to be more than 60 (3 spawners ) Also pointed by others, if lag appears greatly *(I know this is large coding)* reduce amount gradually till its under specific ping.

I dont care about the mob grinders. I couldn't give two flips about them.

I care about animal farms. For eggs, milk, feathers, and most importantly wool.

I had 4 farms, 2 sheep, 1 chicken, and 1 cow. Each had roughly 20-30 animals. When it changed, they all went down to 2-3 animals. Making them worthless (except for milk, but having no eggs means milk is worthless).

Up the limit to 20 please.

in a farm of 3 realms i had about 400 chickens i shared. yes, it might have been a little much, but it is my rigth as a minrealm citizen to build how much of a mob they want. Raise the Li :x mit!
