Another useful thing about blazes is that they drop the most XP in the game, aside from the ender dragon. almost 3 times the amount of a usual mob. However, i don't know how much a ghast drops.

A never ending supply of blaze rods will be needed. It took us about half an hour to get 1 stack. To get 100,000 (1 for each player that has ever played) would take forever.

having blaze spawners be nonbreakable wouldn't be a bad thing. All the factions could try and claim their own and protect it. They would become massive PVP hot zones.

To quote Prodigy's sig quoting a perfectly summed up explanation of griefing in the nether by Cerevox:

"If he breaks blocks for the sake of breaking blocks it is greifing and illegal but if he breaks some blocks so he can stick a sword in your face and give your brain a swirly then it's alright."

It would appear that unless someone managed to build a fort of blaze spawners then breaking any of these spawners would be classified under "breaking blocks for the sake of breaking blocks" and therefor be illegal and a bannable offense (especially so as breaking one of these spawners would cause many people a lot of greif)

I'm the guy who lowered the price on glow stone to .25 of it's going rate before the wipe. :'( What makes you think we plan on crashing the blaze rod economy?

*shrugs* realizes I already have a blaze farm.
