EDIT: So, I think I found it. Thankfully, I have a mac at work^^ I verified that it does work (at least for single player) and I'm pretty sure it is a vanilla distro. However, at the time, I got the "bad login" error from trying to connect to a server. Not sure if MC servers are down or not. You can try though.
I uploaded the jar on mediafire for you.
Link
Please tell me if it works or not. As far as I know, it is 99% working^^ Unless there is some weird modification to the jar that won't allow you to connect to minerealm. Someone else please feel free to test this.

It does work, replacing the 1.8 jar file with the 1.7.3 jar reverts Minecraft back to 1.7.3. I tested it. I also connected to Minerealm without difficulty.
If anyone else is wondering, the other files of the bin folder are the base java files to run Minecraft. They do
not get changed each update, only the Minecraft.jar. The "versions" file might be changed, but it is not necessary to have that to run Minecraft.
Also, Faeyn, please remove the link to download the jar file and send it to physaux directly in a message, as it is against MC's Terms and Conditions to share the jar files to the public. This is how people "torrent" the game (even though Notch doesn't really care lol).
