Adding full pvp in the wilderness would be nice. I wasn't around for 2.0, and I miss pvp.

I don't believe camping noobs at spawn would be a large issue, though a couple extra signs at spawn would be needed. For the most part, spawn points will be largely settled. If raiders start camping noobs, then all they need to do is run to one end, /spawn, and run out the other way. Heck, if they end up at my spawn I know they'll be able to get out - it's hard to patrol the borders of 50 realms.

As for harassing new players in the wilderness, that already happens. The only difference will be that they know who killed them instead of never knowing who robbed them. Speaking of which, why aren't there chest logs? Anyhow, several players house the homeless on the cheap. All they need to do is ask.

I support the idea until the point that I don't any more.

Though a "code of conduct" wouldn't be out of place I think for the more "civilized" peoples. Just a though.

I wouldn't mind pvp, although i think it should be limited to public realms only, for those times where you want to build, and not be harassed.

Had another thought. New players shouldn't be able to participate in PvP for their first three days or week. This will protect noobs (to a degree), but more importantly it will discourage griefers. No point in letting them have any fun. :lol:

What if PVP was always on in the wilderness but only for people that already own a realm?

Side note:
PVP in the nether should be getting quite a bit better with the nether expansion, and all the fresh glowstone will draw a lot of more experienced/ well quipped players to the nether.

this is the best idea ever although there would be those people being sent by people to kill others (assassins) but a border patrol would be nice.

I like the idea, but the only problem is defining what is meant by "wilderness." Is any public realm considered wilderness? Any realm more than X blocks from a spawn point? If this issue can get hammered out it would certainly add some more excitement to the game. :mrgreen:

I agree that the nether isn't that great for PvP... few people are ever there, and those that are typically have just a sword and nothing else in their inventory. I mostly use it for quickly moving around the world, and even that function will become less-frequently used when the subway system is finished.
