Because 1.8 is drastically different, and to (I think) have a good server, you really should not have random chunks of 1.7, in 1.8.

I'm for a map wipe but credit reimbursement for realms. Nice new map without bizarrely shoehorned-in chunks of old land, but people who have already worked hard this whole time for their realms get to keep the credits they very well earned.

I prefer to have no wipe, but if we do end up getting wiped, credit reimbursement for realms would make it bearable, and transferring player data (i.e. transferring one inventory full of stuff per player) would also be helpful.

A REAL wipe would be better for people to experience unlike being babied, and getting to keep there realms, items, and RC. Seems to me that we are being treated as though we are 5 years old.
