I am mature and not a veteran . No fair... Plus the only place we have noobs on is the ban section and no other place. Practically all the other sections, veterans and non-veterans/non-noobs post there. No reason for this to happen.

I would suggest a forum section that does not get added to the index page, like the bans section. That way anyone can post and read posts but it would not get bumped on the index page. I think that would serve the same purpose. Veteran only seems a little prejudice.

dlgn, maybe you could explain your reasons for such a section. I really can't get onboad with this idea without understanding it's purpose. IMO, it's okay to be prejudice (on some things) if there is specific reasons for it. Veterans, by definition, have just been playing a long time and really just serves as a status symbol.

Even though I am a vet, no. nononononononono. Imagine if this happened to chat. Veterans would only talk to veterans and this will happen on the forums too. While the frustration from nub threads in the wrong place happens often, think about how many times that happens. It's really much less than most people put it up to be. In fact, it's less than 10% IMO, which really isn't too bad. A lot of players that are not vets are much more respected than some 1 year or maybe even 2 year vets .

Anyway, I think this could be a good idea. As other people have said, use it only for things only Vets or important/mature people of the server need to know. I'd say try it for a week or two, and if it doesn't work out, take it away.
