I see how this is a bug, I can even see how this is an exploit, but I fail to see how this is a problem.

I didn't notice it until this thread, and when Newbs come on to criticize the servers vanilla ness it is never towards the string.

Could this be an issue, and was this a terrible suggestion?
Of corse not. I think people have trouble voting yes or no for this as it could go either way

My opinion is "If it ain't broke don't fix it". If its not causing issues at the moment and no one complains about it leave it as it is .

Voted no, seeing as it is a great use to all players, especially for creating very purty water/lava structures. This does not harm anyone, and taking it out on the grounds of lacking vanilla is silly when it has so much potential for good.

And the roof of the building in which it is enclosed, which has water channel features. I vote no because it will affect existing builds and isn't harming anyone the way it is. Let it be one of those slightly non-vanilla features that sets MineRealm apart as a groovy place to build

How is that going to make it vanilla? Only thing vanilla is we don't spawn items. If you want something like this to be changed to normal state the whole water/lava system should be completely vanilla but the players don't want that.
