Don't add chocolate to something because you cannot think of more than "its stupid that you cant remember who owes what." Just a lame excuse to say its chocolate.
A good reason to implement this system is to ensure those people who give out loans do indeed get paid without having to resort to going to the Admins. (which they can get busy on official duties, and thats not mentioning what they are building privately)
There should be some rules to it.
1. To setup a payment system, both parties must hit "accept payment setup". If a mistake was made, or the payee forgives debt, BOTH parties must also be subject to confirming the cancellation.
2. Auto-debit from account each day, at a set time. Not when the loan was done, but at a set time. Say, 2 PM Eastern Standard Time, with an automatic 1 day delay from the start of the loan implementation.
3. There is a fee for using the automatic payment system, 500 credits for the payee* to accept the payment plan. Further fees could be pending as to avoid abuse for avoiding the give credits command.
4. If pay-er has insufficient funds to complete, payee still recieves payment each day. However, the pay-er goes into negative funds (the red). In order to get to positive funds, pay-er must mine/sell items to get back into the black.
Don't really see much else.
*Payee refers to the person RECEIVING the money, not the one paying it. Just a clarification.
