And you can easy block access to dispenser to strangers - put a block, or overall wall-up the place and put metal door (that require placing red-torch block to open).

But this would look terrible if your using a dispenser for a creation. For example, if some one is building a fighter-jet or something and the are using dispensers as the guns, having a large wall or an iron door on one of the wings isn't going to look to great.

And as RyGuy said, there really isn't a downside to this. If your using a dispenser for public use, just attach a button to it.

The owner or another member of the realm would take the donations and just refill them when needed.

I agree. I also think you should be allowed to lock doors.
