I remember a time when I'd log in to Minerealm, many moons ago, and I'd see a beautiful landscape of well thought out and designed construction around me, innovative and brillant. If I went out into the wilderness, or walked up to my mobtrap tower, I'd see mobs bustling in abundance, and a trap teeming with life waiting to be extinguished by the lava blade!
Minerealm has been around a while, a good amount of us have been here for over a year, and plenty of us have donated to it's continuation. We are experienced. We have plans, and goals. We have a vision.
I believe it's time to start making this server more elite. Minerealm is one of the very best Minecraft servers there is, if not THE best. While I think it is good to allow new members to join, I think it's time for a process to be put into place so that our peak hours aren't riddled with lag and our chat doesn't look like this:

... Imagine a world where once again, mobs spawn like they should. A world where when you log in, you can actually know that more than a handfull of players know who you are, because only the dedicated will be present. A world where realms that look like a spilled box of legos are non-existant. A Minerealm that looks as epic and impressive as it should, because the skill level of the server as a whole is high, and set an example for what a great Minecraft server should be. A Minerealm where there are more videos of us online than just ones made by those who grief us and make videos about it! A Minerealm ... with a Whitelist.
