Seems fine to me....

I absolutely have no idea how or why those exist but some how I managed to find those. If you don't believe me check out those coords for yourself.

Those are glitches. When mined, they just drop cobble like normal stone. I suspect that the 1.8 client is showing where those blocks would be, if the map had been generated in 1.8. However, since the server is (obviously) not on 1.8, it just treats them like what it sees there: stone.

Also, Intelli is correct: Mojang didn't take down Bukkit. Why would they? They own it. It got taken down because the secretive way in which Mojang gained ownership of Bukkit invalidated the contact under which many of its unknowing developers worked, allowing one by the handle Wolverene to claim ownership of the part he wrote and deny Mojang permission to use it. The way this dilemma is solved, if it gets solved at all, will set a precedent for other contributors in the future. So, for instance, if he and Mojang work out a monetary agreement, then other developers will want money as well. It's a tricky situation Mojang has gotten themselves into with this uncharacteristic lack of transparency.
