It would be nice to get the animals back i didn't have a problem with the trees because you find one and you can make 100 more eventually and the saplings are easy to transport. But cows, pigs, chickens, horses and sheep are a little harder to transport a few thousand blocks, it's def possible if you have a leash or something and willing people to trade, but its not as big of a deal to me anymore as much as it was now that i see there are people willing to, when i asked before no one answered. I will make it my mission just like the trees to replenish as much as possible, if you are willing to trade me two of each animal i will have them back in minerealms roaming in a matter of months

Bu1l, my point is that animals used to spawn commonly, but now they're mostly generated with the land. Mojang then added breeding to compensate. The abundance of player farms merely increases the problem. I feel that this is a part of MineRealm's challenge that it would be a shame to remove.

Animals should be spawning since bad mobs spawn when its dark out.

If theres dirt then there should be a chance for an animal to spawn. Even if its more rare to have them spawn it would help newer players.

An oversight for sure since Minecraft was built as a single player game.

Now that makes more sense mate.

It definitely adds/added a dynamic whereas players create a market for animals that are otherwise harder to find.
That said, I think nowadays if you're still charging for animals you should feel ashamed.
Help the new players, encourage people to want to play here.

Transporting animals isnt very hard... I've taken my animals from my old house to my new house around 5 times now, and theyre about 5000 blocks apart. Finding a sseller of the animals isnt too hard, as you might have seen in this thread, and I've had plenty of animals spawn naturally for me. I dowonvoted, as having more animals spawn in won't be of benefit to the server and, as eetrab said, may cause more lag.
