If its use is to be limited, limit it to just the newbies.

This. The people suggesting it be limited to veterans / non-newbies, are ridiculous.

The problem with limiting it at all is its designed for the newbies, but the newbies are the ones who grief. If you limit it to the vets though, its totally stupid. If anything were to be changed at all to prevent 'griefing' then it should be removed altogether, but I don't agree with that. Our giant spawn is a great feature of the server, but it also repels new players who don't manage to find their way to the teleporter.
