I've never considered "damn" a swear word, myself. "Crap", on the other hand, is a bit of a swear word, IMHO.

Rejected. We have a "no-swearing" policy. If you want this policy removed, you'll need to create a poll regarding removing the entire no-swearing rule.

"Damn" is a swear word. You can't pick and choose which words you think are swear words. We either block them all, or block none of them. It makes no sense to block some of them.

tl;dr: can't remove it as long as we have a "no-swearing" rule.

Crap is technically a swear word also. If your going to follow the "no-swearing" policy, you have to add crap.

This word was formerly considered to be taboo, and it was labelled as such in previous editions of Collins English Dictionary . However, it has now become acceptable in speech, although some older or more conservative people may object to its use
