Thank you to users such as 'MeowRocket' and 'cubeguy314', who have handled this with appreciation and sensitivity. This is a serious request, so I thank the most kind users who have treated it as such. Whilst some of you find this a most alien concept, I can assure you this is a solemn petition. I would be interested to hear more opinions and thoughts on this topic.

and user 'Bu1ld0g', in response to your question, Bollywood star Pran is somewhat of an idol in my birthplace! I was born in the same hospital as him in Ballimaran, and I love his films. Thank you for your interest! :)

With gratitude, your friend, Zenmavado/Pran Krishan Sikhand (प्राण कृष्ण सिक)
I actually have a lot of respect for you for standing up for what you believe in. Although I don't agree with you, I like that despite the fact that we live in a society where people can be ridiculed for their opinions you decided to speak out. Sorry If anything I said offended you, you've been a really nice and reasonable person. I hope you enjoy all the time you spend in our community :)

One of the most intriguing features in minecraft is that through multiplayer, players across the world can connect. Many different cultures, beliefs, and nations can all interact in one game. For those who gave this guy respect good for you, for those who didn't talk respectful and gave little insightful comments for the likes, shame on you. For those who thought this was a troll, this was obviously not a troll from the start.

My biggest issue right now is I'm finding little to no evidence to support a claim that dragons are depicted as satanic effigies in ANY Indian mythology.
So I'm going to say "put up or shut up", give us some evidence to support your claim.

Even more ironic. India is part of Asia, Dragons are a symbol of power and strength in Asian folklore.

So just because he's from a certain place he has to be stereotypically bound to their mythology and religion?
If he were, say, Christian, in the Bible it distinctly refers to Satan as 'the Dragon'. I mean, not everyone in a certain country is going to be from the dominant religion, so at least consider other possibilities before jumping to conclusions.

No meow, its because he hasn't provided any proof or evidence to support his/her claim.
I'm not the one jumping to conclusions.

And I also completely disagree with you on satan being depicted as a dragon in christianity, he holds human form with horns in almost every instance....

In my defense, whether he's trolling or not, my first post still stands. There are dragons everywhere. Having an Indian name (and knowing Indian script), he should have been exposed to "resemblances of satan" in the form of dragons at some point. I don't think he has been to india protesting all of the different etches of dragons. Doing so would be like an atheist making a bid deal every time someone says "bless you" after a sneeze.

Saying red's dragon should be removed is like saying all of the beautifully crafted temples in the world should be removed. Doesn't matter what they stand for. It took a lot of time and creativity to build. For as long as red's dragon stood, only one person has had a problem with it. The opinion of one does not outweigh the opinions of many. Thinking this is foolish. This is why it's not believable.

The excellent English is a giveaway as well. I know lots of foreign people IRL and lots of foreign people online. Never have I met someone with English as good as this who is supposably Indian. If such a person exists, he or she is not playing minecraft and complaining about dragons.

Read the book of Revelation in the Bible. Every translation I've seen references him as a 'Dragon' several times. I believe it is chapters 13 and 20. I do not remember the verse. I will get my Bible and quote them to you if you need it, but the 'human with horns' is the stereotypical view. Check the source and note that I have never seen such a description in all my years of reading the Bible.

My point still stands. Just because your silly versions of Christianity is no longer rooted in the Bible doesn't mean they all aren't.

In my neighbourhood, the population/ethnic demographic is 70% Hindu, Punjabi, and Sikh. A lot of the people who aren't Canadian and come from the Middle East are actually very prominent academically, in fact a lot of them speak English and use English grammar better than the Canadian-born citizens do.
Anyways, the whole debate is practically over because the suggestion was already rejected. It doesn't matter anymore. The suggestion was kinda crazy and unreasonable, but arguing about it won't do much as it's already been resolved.
