Made a prototye or a large farm that will auto-collect the products into one small area, and sent over to super so he can approve. Melons and pumpkins work in the same way so the farms will be the same.

The dimensions are 36 wide by 9 deep. As for height, it depends on how much you want from each harvest. Every row (which is two blocks high) will yeild approx 85 melon slices or 16 pumpkins.
Example, a farm that is 50 blocks high will yeild approx 2125 melon slices or 400 pumpkins in one full harvest.

Its ultimately down to you and your needs. Let us know how high you want it.

Cost:

Ok, for 30k you will recieve two equally sized farms, one melon, and one pumpkin. The dimensions will be the following

50 (width) x 4-6 (length) x 30 (height), which will allow for about 10-15 rows of melons. The length is varying because it depends on how compact the wiring will be. If you would like a taller farm, even though this one will give you about 5-10 stacks on harvest, keep in mind that 30 (height) = 15k, so for every block taller, add .5k, because each of them will be 50 blocks wide, so you are really adding 50 blocks with each block taller. Same goes for both melon and pumpkin. However, sugarcane will be slightly more expensive, but we'll get to that when the time comes.

Materials:

While Ste will provide pistons and redstone, etc, he will need to be provided enough glass and wood to complete this. I suggest placing a surplus amount of both in chests in the realm were the farm is going to be, and label them with a sign, and he'll return whatever materials are left.

Er, little mistake with the price, tehbomb. The height dosen't matter, it's the number of rows of melons/pumpkins that do, so:

15 rows will be included for 15k, making the height around 30ish, if you would like more rows, please pay 1k per row you would like to add on.
