Intelli has a /clear command to clear mobs when server lag is too high

Moreso for testing. Won't be doing it anymore unless necessary :3

Was this done recently? I was out for a few days and have returned to find that all the sheep I had bred and raised, as well as my dog that I had to hunt down are all gone.

I also appear to be missing a music disc from my jukebox, so it may have been a grief. I'm not entirely certain.

Can one of the moderators or admins let me know if the sheep disappearing was due to this animal wipe, or if I was griefed?

If it was due to the animal wipe, is this something that is going to happen again? It completely destroys one of the aspects of the game I enjoy, and if this is going to recur, it's probably best that I simply sell off my realms and move on.

Thank you.

Discs can be taken out of jueboxes by anyone, even in a private realm so keep your discs in chest.

Animals in a private realm can be killed by anyone and it's not considered griefing as far as I know. If you want to keep your animals safe from the public you should box them in so nobody can get to them.

They were behind a ridiculously high wall and then fenced in. Short of putting them underground, this really should be more than acceptable to say "yes, they're mine, they're on my land, please do not touch."

Since this is apparently not griefing, then it's time for me to go. With the addition of breeding in 1.0, animals are now a valid portion of gameplay, and not simply something randomly wandering around. I'm really not interested in spending weeks capturing and breeding animals so that I had a pair in every color possible, only to find they were all destroyed and the person who did so can get away with it - repeatedly.

200 - 300 chickens? Hopefully someone was able to turn it into a nice xp farm and kill them all. This isn't single player. Go produce your lag farms elsewhere.

This.

Seriously and quite honestly, I browse the realms to find these farms so that I can steal, kill, and destroy them. I feel that I am a benefit to the server as it reduces lag :) Also, it releases the mobs from being held captive so they can spawn elsewhere for other Minerealm inhabitants. If you want to breed, then go ahead, but expect a mass slaughter if you're going to treat mobs as property and keep them for yourself.
