It flys, with a hunger for all that live. Attempting to escape from the beast's inside is futile. (/spawn, etc, get disabled). Your only hope of escape is for some other player to slay the beast.

Your best defense? A shovel.

I'm going to start by saying that your utterly insane. That aout of the way, I look forward to this legendary monster and the wars that will ensue. Suggestions:

1) It should seek players completely at random.
2) It should be unable to damage structures.
3) After it consumes you, you cannot escape until A- Someone kills it, or B- A set amount of time has elapsed, so that the issue of people permanantly being trapped inside it is negated.
4) Reasonably durable, but does not physically damage players.
5) Upon death, drops blocks of various materials (sandstone, smoothstone, lapis, diamond, iron, etc).

I like where this idea is going, and eagerly look forward to its release. 8-)

I was thinking either alot bigger or something with legs and weird shapes on it.

I'm going to make my response with ideas for this legend on an entirely new thread. But I'll post the stuff relevant to the sand beast here

I think it should have obsidian eyes and maybe sandstone arms and legs, when it dies it while drop sand and other goodies

It should drop fire blocks upon death, so that the truly pro can have chainmail armour!

i thin kit should be like a flowting sand stone cube that traps players inside the mob itself. it should then have a face made of cloth or somthing and mabey the sounds from nether would portals to warn of its approach! :twisted:
