The country system described in http://minerealm.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1319 seems to take away my security. Other people can take over my realms if they have enough money. I dont want that.

The leveling system described in http://minerealm.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=0&t=4134 prevents newbies from entering the nether and gives ownership of all the glow stone to just a few, who then control the prices. unless... I heard rumors, that the nether is going to be bigger. If that is true, please advertise that and make us undersand better.

Based on the current info I have to say, country system and leveling system are pretty bad. The current system without any of those is a lot of fun though :). I would rather keep the current system over these proposals. I am open to better changes though. Thx for hearing my opinion :).
Just my opinion. I'm not all about the pvp and that kind of stuff. Creepers are bad enough, I don't want to worry about players attacking and looting me when all I want to do is enjoy the game.

So because I don't enjoy one aspect of the game, that makes me a "casual"? Thank you for clearing that up, because I thought I was playing a game that had many different aspects that could appeal to a wide variety of people. So if someone were to only play single player, would that make them less of a player because there is no pvp involved?

The word casual has completely lost the meaning that it is meant to have. It is meant to mean someone who does not play very often or plays the game for fun, not someone who is bad. I know plenty of casual players who are far better than those who spend a lot of time in a game.

Luelle is not a "casual" he/she is simply a player with specific tastes that are different to yours, I am sure if you found a completly peaceful server they would call you a brute.

Also Kress if you're not a casual, would you call yourself a "Pro" Minecraft player?

I don't enjoy pvp either, nor do I want people to be able to buy land out from under me. However, I still voted for countries.

Also, I DO play games for fun. Guess I'm a casual.

i totally agree with the last few posters, otherkitty, emershaan, luelle, cloudtheclow, davies... i think the interaction betweens countries would be cool, but only for the those that would like to participate. i recently bought 10 realms, and plan on purchasing more where i am trying to build a city. having to spend creds to defend my realms, having people trying to take over my land(possibly), would not be cool. i think that if this is implemented, participation should be toggle-able, like pvp now. otherwise, i think it undermines the whole realm protection system currently in place.

As long as minerealm does not change too much, it is lacking nothing and has nothing major needed to be gained.
I think that we shouldn't change minerealm to anything that has a different "personality".
I don't even understand countries, but as long as it does not change minerealm like I metioned I would not like, I'm up to see what they have in store.

I agree with that. As long as I can choose which land I want to have in a county or not I wouldnt want to lose them all just cause I was forced into joining a country cause my neighbours joined one.

i like what prodigy has to say here. i really hope there will still be a place for people like me on this server... i have no interest in pvp, and i don't like the sound of all this aggression :(
Thanks for the support. Personally, though, I don't have a problem with aggression and mandatory PvP in general; my concern was with the idea of mandatory possibility-of-losing-your-realms PvP.

If there are lots of people who dislike mandatory PvP in general, however, another possibility would be to have private realm owners decide whether mandatory PvP applies in their realms. That way, those who dislike combat could simply remain in their private realms when aggressive players are nearby, but the overall amount of PvP in the server should still increase since this would be more of an opt-out system than an opt-in one for being able to PvP in a particular place. (What I mean by opt-out vs opt-in is that in the current system, PvP is disabled by default but can be enabled by a command or by entering the nether; in the kind of system I'm tossing up for consideration, PvP is enabled by default but can be disabled in small areas by purchasing a realm and entering a command. So either way players have a pretty large amount of freedom as to whether they participate in PvP, but the default settings would be changed.)
