Maybe around 110 because it averages a little above 100 usually, but even with this I say that donors should be able to join no matter how many players are online.

I don't agree with reserved slots. I do agree with a lower limit.

The server usually has 110 or so people at peak hours. So if we are decreasing it any further, I would go down to 110. Anyway, there has been a insane peak in new players since the 1.8 update, and that is what's causing this problem. Like BSGSamuel said before my post, mcserverlist.net has Minerealm listed as 5th on there list of servers, which is what I expect to be causing the flow of new players.

11/11/11 isn't that far away. Either that update, or an update before then, will address performance issues.
