1.8 is awesome but the "ocean spawn" is a problem they need to work out fast. I ended up making 3 (random seed) unusable ocean spawn worlds before i finally got a good one. btw forest biome is the best for starting out

Just use the seed "0".

You probably wouldn't like this seed anyhow. There's next to no caves around here. All forests and swamps.

I am going to laugh so hard if the map wipe that's being decided upon spawns in an "ocean biome". That will be hilarious, the spawn building and nothing for thousands of blocks XD

If that happens, then I say Celestis buys up a coastal realm, turns it into a dock/tree far and sells boats for cheap =D

Oh, there's no villages in my little world (as far as I've found). Dug into not one but two ravines though =D

I'll upload some pics in a bit I think.
