It's not that big of a problem. Chat is already too quiet with most people using /g /b and /m.

Or better yet, just remove PVP altogether, or at least non-voluntary PVP. People who come on a Minecraft server to kill other players who were minding their own business are essentially just griefers IMO, the scourge of online games. The server would be so much more amazing without those players.

I seem to find that pvp in the nether is what causes most of this trouble. I.E. Portal camping, jumping, "FREE DIMONDZ IN DA NETHR" pvp enabledHint hint. This will get shot down harder than planes in World War II.

Maybe we should remove Automatic pvp in the nether. Once you step in, you still have to /pvp from the overworld. But if you already have pvp enabled when you go into the portal, you keep that status.

The nether is meant to be dangerous, to create some risk when using it for faster transportation.

Not at all. Building in the nether on this server just attracts "PVPers" (i.e., griefers) with inventories of potions to attack people who are actually doing something useful that have an inventory of building blocks. This server would be way better if people could build and travel in the nether without some kid attacking them. The notion that the nether should have added danger is just a matter of opinion, and at this point that role could be relegated to the wilderness.

Just the other day I entered the nether in my wither hunting gear smite sword fire pro III armour, I wasn't trying to pvp and you poisned me and pot spammed me and then attacked me later for me to make you pvp log, so DON'T even try talking about others poisojing vicims that want to pass by just don't.
