I've been looking for people to play with!

If you guys donate $200, I'll buy another Xbox and set up a 24/7 Xbox server for MineRealm.

Sure, it'd be limited to 8 players, but I doubt we'd have more than 8 people who want to play on it at once (more people passing through).

..That is, assuming if I have a server set as public & someone on my friends list, they can join without an invite - I haven't tested it.

I am assuming you have a pretty good ventilation system to be running an Xbox 360 24/7. I don't really know about Xbox's but if I don't dust my PS3 off and vacuum the fan out regularly the dust just contains the heat and after about 5-8 hours of continuous running it over heats.

Those video game consoles are dust magnets. It would be recommended you clean it once a day. You may have to turn it off when you clean the fan because the vacuum will make the fan turn in reverse and burn out the fan motor.

You would have to stay in the game afk the whole time to keep the server up, so only 7 people could play at once. Yes they can join if the server is set to public and if they are on your friend list but you have to be in it for them to join.

Why another Xbox? Why not use yours for the server when your not on it? So, it's only open for random intervals?
