Welcome!:

Welcome to Sub Aurora, the newest upcoming city of MineRealm.

Sub Aurora, for the last few weeks, has been a massive undertaking by the people of TC (Now Silverlight). We have dug out, and placed over 80,000 blocks. However, we still have a massive 1,031,000 blocks to go. Thats over one MILLION BLOCKS still to dig.

It is a 150x150 area, and we are digging almost all of it to bedrock.

Construction so far:
Image

The concept is a hole. Yeah, a hole. Were digging out a huge shape down to Y:16, and all the buildings will be built into the walls, the roof and sitting on the ground.

Construction!:

We've split the project into a few phases. Phase 1 is to dig out 6 layers, which is completed. Phase 2 is building the stalegmites.Phase 3, digging down to layer 16 and phase 4, building the city.

Phase 1: Complete
Phase 2: Complete
Phase 3: In progress
Phase 4: Not yet started

We have seen other cities started, we have seen other cities fall. But we will NOT fall, because we are Silverlight, we are active, and WE WILL SUCCEED!

Outline Plan:

We Need Help!:

Although construction is continuing at a steady rate, we need help and support.

For now, we need players who are dedicated to finishing digging the main section of the city. We will be recruiting anyone and everyone to help us dig out over 9000 (1,000,000) blocks. If you hadn't noticed; 1 million blocks is 500,000 credits, which you can share in if you help us dig! We can supply volunteers with iron tools to dig, as long as they formally agree to place any of their findings back into the storage chests. We cant dig this entire thing with out donations and re-using ore we find for tools. This project will require a huge amount of iron pickaxes: 4261 to be exact.

Application form:
In order to be allowed to help on this project, your application form must be accepted. Players with less than 3 rep will not be allowed to help, unless we make an exception. You may apply regardless of your rep,but of we don't know you, don't be hopeful!

We can supply melons. Lots of melons. So many melons.... *cries in a corner*. "THE MELONS, oh god the melons..."

Avg. Play time P/day:
How you can help:
Any other conditions:
Anything else:
Do you agree to either re-use the ores you find or place them in the chests for other workers:

(Players who do not return ores will be required to bring their own tools)

Donations:
We also desperately need donations of iron, iron tools, and smoothstone. Credits are always helpful as well.

Workers:

The leaders of this project are _iBiS_, James_Potter and I (Mitchie151 in case you forgot...).

Currently accepted workers are as follows:

Pixie1001
Harrison261

Everyone else who has applied... Pretty much.

While we are online, we may allow people to work without applying in kind of 'happy hours' but after we leave, permissions will be removed

Notice: Players who apply to work at Sub Aurora are expected to leave the surrounding realms public. We know you want to be a part of Sub Aurora, but we can't effectively expand if your realm is blocking the way.

EVERY ONE IS WELCOME ON DIG DAYS!!!!!

Where currently is this project taking Place? And also I would like to help.
IGN: Mkman2008
Playtime/day: 2-3 hours
How I can help: Mining it out and maybe supplying some iron
Any other conditions: I need to know the location
Anything else: I'm friendly and can do any job that is needed besides stalagmites or stalagtites
I will place all IRON ore and gold in the chest for other workers. I will be keeping all diamonds that I may stumble upon.
Please consider this, as I love things that will allow me to interact with some members of Minerealm that I do not see a lot.
Mkman2008 :)

Application taken into consideration, we will probably accept once phase 2 is complete. Thanks for applying!

Coordinates will be PM'd to players once their apps are accepted.

Avg. Play time P/day: 3-5 hours
How you can help: I can help with phase 2 or 3, I have a huge amount of patience and could spend hours on tedious tasks such as digging.
Any other conditions: I'll probably need the tools for this, but I'll gladly give you all the ore I mine.
Anything else: I will donate some iron blocks for this project whether I'm accepted or not.
Do you agree to either re-use the ores you find or place them in the chests for other workers: Yes.

why not fix your main town / spawn Abyssus ? more towns = less people in towns since there is

Spawn city
Roanoke
Abyssus
Exodus
Trinity
New frogtown
Skycity
Aquaria
Elibus
Lizard town

>_>

This is going to be a public/community city, where you can buy/rent plots and cliff hanging apartments. Kinda like Skycity and New Aquaria.

We have kinda got bored of Abyssus and feel that we weren't really doing anything productive with it. That and barely anyone lives in Abyssus any more. We will most likely come back to building and upgrading Abyssus one day, but for now this is what we are focusing on.

Basically, we felt like it was time for a challenge.

We wanted a chance to do something that could benifit everybody. Abyssus, being a private community is valuable to us, but not so interesting any more. We will come back to it and start a new project. But for now, this is top priority.

So it's going to be like any other city where you can buy/rent...
but underground.

Very original good sirs.

I disagree with the creation of more towns and cities. I think we should have multiple spawn points again, and all of the other places are Towns, and the Three "Cities" are Roanoke, Spawn City, and Abyssus.

As Pandemic said, there is way too many "towns" and there isn't enough people in them.

Pfftt, it is original, the 'Three Cities' as you say are old and boring.

I don't care what people think, and even if we get no volunteers, this project will be finished.

This will be one of the coolest builds there has been. No body complained when Keyhen built skycity, or Cogohst build New Aquaria. Why complain now?
