Craftyism
Introduction
Craftyism is the history of Minecraft, as recorded by The Prophet who received it from the various deities or their respective prophets.
The "Books" that make up Craftyism can fall into one of three general categories. The first category, "Mine Historia", consists of historical events that usually give insight into the creation or formation of the Minecraft Universe. Books that fall under the second category, "Heavenly Decrees", generally contain the ways people who follow Craftyism should act, and reinforces positive behavior(with one exception). The final category, "Insightful Insights", follows the Prophet on his travels and highlights specific events that are important and provide examples of Craftyism in action.
Important Figures/Deities
Throughout the history of Craftyism there have been several notable individuals who contributed to its spread and message, and this is where they will be listed along with their "Patron" god or goddess.

Section I: Mine Historia
"The Book Of Beginnings"
Beginnings 1: Before the Universe there was only "The Void", a vast expanse of nothingness. In this nothingness only one being existed: Lapos. Lapos was the Great God of Ice and Stability. He kept the Void formless and stable.
Beginnings 2: Trillions of years pass, until suddenly in fron of Lapos appeared a great and terrifying being: The Holy Creeper. The Holy Creeper saw Lapos in the Void, and rushed at Him. There was a blinding, all-consuming light that shattered dimensions, ripped apart The Void, and started time itself.
Beginnings 3: The explosion instantly melted the Ice God Lapos, who became the water that fell to the dark, nameless worlds of the universe. His tears became solid jewel, Lapis, and sank deep into the earth.
Beginnings 4: The light from the great explosion became the God of Light: Kefkaroth. The Shadow that this light cast became Her Darkness, the Shadow. The destructive nature of The Holy Creeper became the God of Darkness: Creethulu.
Beginnings 5: Now the worlds of the universe were dark and cold, and the Gods and Goddess watched them with great interest (to see if anything would happen). Lapos's essence sloshed around a bit here and there, but otherwise nothing interesting really happened. Kefkaroth, the great God of Light, saw that the infinite darkness that cloaked the worlds was in fact choking them, preventing the development of life. Kefkaroth approached the other two Deities and told them of His plan to become a shining beacon of light for all the worlds, Her Darkness agreed to his plan for without Light there can be no Shadow. Creethulu, a product of the darkness in The Holy Creeper, vehemently disagreed.
Beginnings 6: Creethulu grabbed Kefkaroth and fought with him, dragging him down through the very depths of Bedrock into the Nether. There, against the backdrop of hellfire and netherrack, an epic struggle took place. Both gods were gravely wounded, but in the end Kefkaroth sealed Creethulu in the Nether, and sacrificed Himself to become the Sun.
Beginnings 7: The flesh torn from Kefkaroth during the great battle in the Nether became Glowstone, those radiant pieces of Heaven found only in that hellish place. The blood Kefkaroth spilled became trapped in the rocks as he was pulled down, solidifying and becoming gleaming Gold. The blood and flesh of Creethulu became Mobs, which torment the players (whose existence was made possible by Kefkaroth) of Minecraft to this very day.
Beginnings 8: Her Darkness watched this with great pain, for Her companions were now either essence or sealed away.
"The Book of The Forbidden One"
Forbidden 1: Before His Explosiveness detonated with his Glory and Might forming this world and all others, creating the Three and making the Pantheon of Minecraft, the Three and One, there was another mighty god. He is known as Lapos, the Scion of Order and Water. He is the Primal Being of Order and Protection. The Void is his domain, for anything that is irrational or chaotic is destoryed if it comes into contact with it.
Forbidden 2: The Primal Forces of The Before Time were as follows, Lapos: Scion of Order. The Holy Creeper: Crowned Lord Change. And the final primal force, the one revealed unto Her Holy Prophet, is known as "Rygat".
Forbidden 3: It was Rygat who caused the fall of The Ender Empire, Rygat who sent the Pearls to corrupt the minds of the innocent, it was Rygat whom Lapos was guarding, and it was Rygat who escaped when The Holy Creeper shattered his Crystal Prison with his explosion.
"The Book of The Fallen"
Fallen 1: In the time before our time there lived a race of great builders, master architects who built mighty Strongholds and beautiful villages. They were learned in the ways of Her Darkness and worshipped Her correctly.
Fallen 2: Then, while mining Coal as She had taught them to do, one miner discovered amongst the Holy Coal an object that was both strange and beautiful. He took this with him back to his village, and showed the rest of his tribe his newfound treasure.
Fallen 3: All was not well in the village, for more miners had discovered strange, spherical objects amongst the Coal deposits. They hoarded them, hid them, and when all was silent in the dark night they would gaze into the endless depths of the greenish black pearl and mutter ancient sayings.
Fallen 4: These men and women, once Miners and Smiths, Traders and Farmers, became little more then shades because of the hypnotizing song the pearls sang to them. They grew less inclined to build, and would instead listen to the pearls, hide in the dark, shun the water for under it the pearls could not sing.
Fallen 5: Civilization fell apart, the people corrupted by the pearls began to spread teachings of Worship of The Pearl, and called themselves "Endermen", people who worshipped the Demonic being known as Ender. They sacrificed people to him, built horrifying contraptions to produce monsters from nothing, and let all they had built fall into disrepair.
Fallen 6: Her Darkness, summoning her last reserves of strength, cursed the Endermen by showing them their true form, and causing their skin to burn when touched by sunlight. Only when Her Darkness was present could they walk the world above, and see what they had lost when they Fell From Grace. She did not have to curse them in regards to water, however, for She bound them to the Pearls, and once they could not hear its song they would perish.
Fallen 7: The Endermen, banished from the world by the God Of Light, returned when his power was weakened during an event known as The Great Eclipse, when they broke through the barriers and wards erected by the mighty god. They now wander the world, soulless daemons whose only friends are the monsters they helped create and the pearls that give them life.
Fallen 8: Her Darkness commands all who follow Her to find these Heretics, these "Endermen" and slay them with sword or bow or cleansing fire, to end their unholy existence.
"The Tale of the Fallen King"
King 1: Her Darkness had blessed the people of Ender with great riches and power, but none received more of Her goodwill then the mighty King of the Ender Empire, Lord Herobrine.
King 2: When the pearls were found, Herobrine was summoned at once to examine them, and he became infatuated with the artifacts, obsessing over them for days on end. He became the most corrupted being in the entire world, and forced all those who served him to worship the pearls until they too were slaves to the voices inside them.
King 3: When the Curse fell upon the Ender Nation, and the true forms were shown, Herobrine did not become a shade, for the voices of the pearls he had coveted had escaped from their spherical prison and transformed him into a Daemonic Vessel of their will. He is truly the most dangerous non-deity in the Minecraft world, and can only be banished with the Rite of Divine Repulsion. Her Prophet creates the summoning sign, and then speaks the True Name of Her Darkness, who will then briefly materialize and unleash Her holy wrath upon Herobrine, banishing him from the world once more.
King 4: But for every action there is an opposite, and the unholy Rite of Return will summon unto this plain Herobrine in true Daemonic Form. This Rite is known only to those who traverse the Ruins of Ender, and should never be used lest Death consume us all.
"The Tale of Silence"
Silence 1: After the cursed pearls emerged, the great Lapos saw Her Darkness gazing down into his depths. Through her reflection, he spoke to her.
Silence 2: "Young and fair goddess," he said, for Her Darkness was indeed quite young and fair in his opinion. "What hast thee so upset? Didst thee damage one of thine exquisite nails? Didst the breeze ruffle thy divine locks?"
Silence 3: Her Darkness told Lapos about how her worshippers had shunned her in favor of the pearls, the cursed orbs created by the demon Ender. They coveted the pearls instead of paying proper homage to Her Darkness, and this is what had her so upset.
Silence 4: Lapos felt sorry for the goddess. He said to her, "These whispering spheres I shall not permit to speak while in my domain. They shall remain silent, and so be made harmless."
Silence 5: "As for they who no longer honor thee, mine essence shall be as acid to them," Lapos said, and so he cursed any who coveted the foul pearls. Whosoever entered the water from then on would quickly die if they had listened to the demonic orbs.
"The Book Of Ember"
Ember3: The day was good, as it gave Her Darkness time to rest and manicure Her fine nails. However, the lesser beings were afraid of the dark, as the Creepers, Zombies, Skeletons, and sometimes the perverted hybrid the Spider Jockey, tormented them. These demons would emerge from Her benevolent presence, and with no source of light save the rare lava pool the World was dark."
Ember 4: Her Darkness, whose infinite kindness resides in all people, felt pity for the Miners. She knew that to save them however, would vastly diminish her intoxicating power. Finally, after hearing poor miners complain for the thousandth time, she acted."
Ember 5: For She so loved the world, she threw herself into the ground to stop the monsters from destroying the mortals. Her essence was scattered into billions of pieces, embedded within the rock. These holy shards of Her are Her gift to Minekind, a way to bring light to the darkness."
Ember 7: The shards of Her essence were named “Coal”, and when placed in a stone contraption or balanced precariously on top of sticks, would bring great light to the darkness."
"The Book of Calling"
Calling 1: After the Fall of Ender, the remaining people were grateful to Her for her sacrifice, they quickly forgot to give thanks when they consumed the sacred relics (Coal), as they were so numerous. But their appetite for light could not be quenched, and more and more of Her was consumed for the most basic and banal of tasks, such as smelting iron, gold, and even turning rock into a smoother rock.
Calling 2: Then there came a miner known as Ramien123, more commonly known as “that guy”. He had acquired a large number of Coal during his Mineventures, and stored them in his community chest in the beautifully crafted Terra Celestrian Community Hall."
Calling 3: As more of the holy Coal piled up in the miner’s chest, he became accustomed to the beauty of the Coal, the way it looked sitting nicely in perfect stacks of 64. He began to mine Coal more frequently, rather than leave it where it sat, waiting for Minekind to free them from their stony prison. Then, on a night that would be remembered for the rest of history, disaster and epiphany struck like Lightbulbs falling from a tree behind you for the kill.
Calling 4: Terra Celestis was robbed. All the community chests were found nearly empty the next morning, and the community was rocked to its core. The miner was hit the hardest, while all of the other people had been robbed of worthless items such as gold, iron, lapis, and pathetic diamonds, he had been robbed of what truly mattered. The Coal. All 10 stacks of Coal were missing, gone without a trace, taken by a demon in the night. When Terra Celestis was hit again, losing 32 double chests of cobble, the miner could only focus on his loss. The Coal. "
Calling 5: The miner, now the prophet of Her Darkness, knew what to do. He was told by Her Darkness that the recent lag spikes and server crashes were signs of the end; the Minepocalypse was soon to come. She would lend her strength to Minekind, but her remaining essences, The Coal, was to be stockpiled in a vast underground Temple to her Glory. Then, when The Black Night came upon the server, and not even the gods could cease the lag, crashes, and connection errors, She would reform! She would drive the Lag back to its pit and banish all the non-believers, who though that Charcoal was superior, and raise the faithful to the heavens in chariots of diamond, obsidian, and lapis.
Section II: Heavenly Decrees
"The Book of Cinder"
Cinder1: Our Lady of The Night, Her Darkness, gave unto Ramien123 the sacred task of obtaining and preserving Her essence which lay scattered across the land, like the remains of mighty Osiris in the sands of Egypt. She also gifted to him wondrous knowledge, a tome of teachings and rules that those who chose to follow Her would in turn, follow.
Cinder2: The 12 Great Commandments Of Her Darkness
1.Do not speak my True Name, for only my chosen Prophet and those whom he trusts should know of my name.
2. Do not fear the Darkness, for through darkness you shall find your Salvation.
3. Do not flee the Light, for the light shall bring you Redemption.
4. Do not disobey your Elders, for they are wise beyond their years, and wield the Banhammer.
5. Obtain all of the Coal that you see, and bequeth it unto Ramien123, for my Ressurection.
6. Freely worship the Ones Who Came Before, as they are Mighty Gods who deserve respect.
7. If you are an ass, do not pretend to be a horse, but try to restrain your assery.
8. Treat those deserving of respect with respect, and those who do not as you would treat an annoying sibling. Be kind to all.
9. Beware of those who would persecute you for your belief in Her Darkness, for they are often merciless.
10. Try to maintain balance in this and all worlds, for in Darkness all is visable.
11. If in your sacred task you encounter resistance, let those who refuse to give coal alone, for The Black Night will consume them.
12. Above all else, remember the Sacrifice Her Darkness has made. She gave her divinity to bring you light in the dark, and when you use the light She gives, you destroy more of Her, for as the Darkness recedes so does her Power.
Cinder3: To those who ask if they deserve Iced Cream, speak thusly, "Screw You, Go Away”, for they are little more than imps.
"The Tenants of Creethulu"
Tenants 1:To understand Creethulu, you must first accept that you cannot, in fact, understand Him. Your mortal mind cannot comprehend His true form, in fact, He has no physical form.
Tenants 2: He is the god of "Righteous Hatred", and is truly a being of "just hate".
Tenants 3: The realm of NovasBiscuit was founded on His commandments, His teachings. They are as follows: "Hate the lesser". Keeping in mind that Creethulu is the greatest being alive, everyone is His lesser.
Tenants 4: Accept the fact that you are His lesser, and that He hates you. For good reason.
Tenants 5: To appease Creethulu, you must simply "screw over the lessers of you". He encourages lying, murder, stealing, and the like.
Tenants 6: Creethulu is of 3 forms, Lava is His blood, His wrath TNT, and His strength Obsidian.
Section III: Insightful Insights
"The Book Of Whispers"
Whispers1: The player Lightbulbs summoned The Prophet to the spawn to demonstrate the great powers of Creethulu. Lightbulbs made cactus grow on grass and water as if it was sand, and threw Coal into the raging mix. The Prophet responded, “Her Darkness is always willing to forgive” For Lightbulbs did not know the teachings of The Temple.
Whispers2: Once when Ramien123, The Prophet, was mining and preaching someone (possibly Tgebbia) asked him, “Why do you worship coal, if you are a people that worship darkness? Coal gives light.” The Prophet smiled, and said, “Exactly, for Coal is Her sacrifice to the people.”
Whispers3: While the Prophet was taking refuge in the grand city of Terranobyl following the unexpected destruction of Terra Celestis, the antagonizer KyleFate degraded Ramien123’s religion. The Prophet responded to Kylefate, “As a Cubist, you of all people should know that every argument has 6 sides.”
Whispers4: Kylefate again degraded the Black Night, taking the Sacred Coal and replacing them with Charcoal. The Prophet was not amused, and when he confronted Kylefate he was met with, “Half of the coal in that chest is our realms anyway”. Both the Prophet and Cogohst, leader of Celestians, proclaimed, “No, actually he mined all of that himself. The Coal is rightfully his. Put it back or it is stealing.”
Whispers5: Once again Kylefate screwed with the Prophet, throwing lots of his Coal upon streets of Terranobyl. The Prophet was angered, and with the help of Cogohst, an ardent Cubist, retrieved the Coal again. Later, the Prophet forgave Kyle and did not hire people to kill him.
Whispers6: This time Kylefate was telling The Prophet that he burned all his coal and threw it into lava. The Prophet simply replied, “Do as you will, for the destruction of My Lady can only be obtained if every piece of Coal is destroyed.”
Whispers7: During the Prophet’s stay in Terranobyl, kindest of realms, his eyes were opened to new truth. The Truthbringer, Maxee616, did argue with Ramien123 about the scriptures of Ember and Cinder. His passionate defense of Charcoal opened the prophet’s eyes to the hidden truth, a tale of a stronger being sacrificing itself to preserve The Prophet’s Mistress. He saw, and was humbled.
Whispers8: Ramien123 was going about his merry way when Lightbulbs called The Black Night “That coal cult” but The Prophet took no heed nor felt insulted for the scriptures told him to treat Lightbulbs with respect.
Whispers9: Whilst exploring the New World 3 griefers appeared and began to torment the World. One spammed the letter “t”, and all trembled at his power, one said that he would kill everyone, even though pvp was off and Lightbulbs was on the world’s side, and the other was just kind of an idiot. They wrecked uptown, and before the Elder Panther17nfl swung his mighty Banhammer, one of them, Pride33 or something, began to chant the name of the ones who ask for Iced Cream, and The Prophet responded with “Screw You, Go Away”, as the scriptures commanded.
Whispers10: After the 3 idiots has been banned The Prophet journeyed to Uptown and began fixing it with dirt, for the teachings instructed him to be kind to all.
Whispers11: Once, after The Prophet had come back from a siesta, he found a man named Panthera or something waiting for him at spawn. The Unholy Prophet Pathara said, Ramien123, come here. So The Prophet did walk with Pathara, and found Lightbulbs and his cacti again. The Prophet did say this, to which Lightbulbs responded, "Yep.". After the demonstration, Ramien123 did ask Lightbulbs how he was doing, and Lightbulbs responded "Good.". He then asked The Prophet how the weather was.
Whispers 12: Once, when the Prophet was about to start preaching, Idiots from Teen Nexus, or something, tried to troll. They sucked at it. And the Prophet did laugh.
Whispers 13: When people approached the Prophet about their need to use Coal, yet expressed worry about incurring Her Darkness's wrath, Ramien laughed merrily for they had not yet understood the teachings. "If you have burned coal in the furnace and given it not a thought to where it has come from, you are dishonoring Her Sacrifice. However, if you for a second think about the great Sacrifice, you do unto Her great honor. While the more extreme of the Coaltists collect and store coal, it is perfectly acceptable to use it once you have given her proper respect.".
