7.0/10 points

I tested the entire water park, and I thought it was fun overall. There is a good variety of attractions, and the design is very nice looking and entertaining. However, I chose the 7/10 rating due to a few downsides, some of which can be improved upon:
  • The items despawning after death is unacceptable. I don't know how you did that, but somehow if it can be changed, I may come back another time. Or, make a lost and found... I lost a fairly used diamond pick and some stuff...
  • The boat ride needs to be thoroughly revised with new methods for turning corners, etc. Here was my experience: I spend 3 long minutes looking at the myriad of signs with random advice, launch my boat successfully, ride 10 blocks at a decent clip to the base of a sign/water lifter, where my boat breaks. I am not doing that again, but the rest of it looks pretty fun. Also don't mention "it works about 50% of the time for me".
  • The water slide(s) need more variety. One runs straight diagonally down, the other straight in a dark tunnel (kind of fun actually), and the last in spirals. Make one do unexpected twists and turns, and make them longer, using space more efficiently.
  • For the wave pool, make it 3x larger (no more), and add buttons closer to the wave generation points. This way one could feel the waves even more.
  • Two small quirks, definitely to fix: 1) The high dive needs a specific walk-in entrance, not a glass rim, though I appreciate your efforts to prevent accidently falling in. 2) There's a "secret" entrance to your storage area which is a little easy to find... make a trapdoor or something, the Secret Agent Spy Guys could easily get in.
IMO a water park should be 2-4 realms in size w/ Huge slides and drop-offs but this is great considering the location.

edit - add a snack bar please. Near the bbq pits.

The high dive is fatal. Just throwing that out there ;)

No, really exhilarating. You must have not looked when jumping.

Thank you for the review!
For my first completed MR build I am very happy with 7/10 :)
I appreciate the advice on how to upgrade the slides and high dive entrance, I will absolutely consider those points.

Some things I can't fix: the boat ride. It's completely a product of the limitations of the game. Even the fact that items despawn after death if you die in the boat hitting the ground too hard. Also the physics. That's the best that can be done considering the current boat physics with smp. I spent hours pouring over videos and tweaking/re tweaking to get it to work about 50% of the time. I'm hoping in the future boat physics will be better. If you know of a more reliable design, please please share.

The storage entrance is meant to be a way to get out if you fall in the waterfall :) I tried to make it so noone can't get stuck in the park. I know, it's kinda silly. You can die, but not get stuck. (If you find some place where you can get stuck, please let me know and I'll look into it :) )

Again, thank you very much for taking the time to explore the park and for writing up the review, Laserminer :)

Sometimes, yes. Lots of warning signs. :)

The high dive to bedrock is exhilarating. Just needs a wooden slab diving board.
