Seems a bit complicated just to be part of a realm.

Yes. To just be a part of "a" realm the whole process would be ridiculous. However, with the vast riches of Terra Nova easily available for any member to distribute to the needy members of the community, we must be cautious of potential thieves.

I wonder if Celestis has such lengthy and excessive application methods....

Terra Nova wishes to remind the good public that relations between Celestis and Terra Nova have never been better, and that communications remain open and friendly between members. On the matter of Celestis having as throrough application procedures as Terra Nova, well, I can not say for certain. Terra Nova aims to be the best and most people friendly realm on the server, and in order to do so must find the very best people to join our ranks. However, having been a member of Celestis myself i can hazard a tentative guess that Celestis does not have such lengthy and extensive application methods.

Your correction made that sentence redundant, lengthy and extensive are synonyms, meanwhile lengthy and excessive are not synonyms but both apply to your application. (that isnt to say i dont agree you should be careful who you share your wealth with, it will certainly weed out the lazier people from your line of applicants.)

While it is true that in some cases lengthy and extensive can mean about the same thing, extensive can also mean "broad in scope or content", which is what I had originally thought it to be.
