Probably someone gave it to the zombie. I remember once I equipped a baby pigmen with Prot IV Unb III armour and a Sharp V sword and it went around killing people lol.

Except nothing dropped. Mobs drop anything they've picked up upon death. I've seen them spawn in with diamond before.

Also, that's evil. Delicious evil, but evil nonetheless. (;

No it's not a mod, It is vanilla minecraft. I found one in a different world a few days ago.

Added in 1.7, I think. I've only ever seen a baby zombie though. baby Zombie pigman is awesome overload.
