no offense, this goes for everyone, but I don't think any player who has been on minerealm for a while, will join a guild with absolutely no details.

Yeah, I wasn't applying I'm afraid. I'm a happy Vortexian and too busy IRL to do that much stuff anyway. I was just giving advice.

but that is my point, people can tell me if they want to join on the forums, and when I see them online, I will tell them all about the guild and answer any questions they have. And see if they are still interested in joining.

Most people won't join a guild with no info whatsoever, and those who will probably aren't the sort of people you want in your guild. If you saw an advertisement for a house with no price or pictures, would you contact the owner about it? What if you saw a poster for a club at school with no explanation of what it was about? It's the same here. Unless you have a compelling reason to keep specific information secret (such as, for example, the location of a hidden guild base), you should post it.

You say you want people to message you if they're interested. Well, if they have no idea what it's about, they won't be. Just a bit of advice from someone who's seen many recruiting threads fail, and a few succeed.
